Yummy Chocolate Biscuit and Marshmallow Cake!

This is a simple and delicious cake to make! This cake is ideal for children`s birthday parties, for bake sales or simply as a sweet treat for yourself! 


                     Ingredients:             
                                                                125g of butter
 1 tbsp of golden syrup
   200g of plain chocolate
 150g of plain biscuits
  200g of marshmallows


                                                                                                                                                                                        Method:       
                              1. Tear off a piece of clingfilm and loosely line a 500g/1lb loaf tin with it. 
                              2. Break the chocolate into a bowl and add in the butter and the syrup. Place the bowl over a saucepan of simmering water and gently melt the contents.
                              3.  Break up the biscuits into small pieces. If you prefer a smoother biscuit cake, break the biscuits into even smaller pieces. 
                              4.  Remove the bowl from the heat and allow it to cool slightly. Add in the biscuits and marshmallows and stir until coated. 
                               5. Spoon the mixture into the loaf tin and press it down with the back of a spoon. Place the tin in the fridge for 2 hours, to set. 
                                6. Carefully turn the tin upside down on the chopping board.Remove the tin and unwrap the clingfilm. Leave to soften for a few minutes before serving.
